Generate an audit report

Generate an audit report from the Fixed Asset Register when you need a year-end summary of additions, disposals, and depreciation for review or export.
Before you start, make sure your register is current and your depreciation settings are correct. If you use rollover, do that first for the period you are reporting on.
Generate the report
Open the Fixed Asset Register.
Click More and select Generate Audit Report.
Review the Audit Report dialog and export it as PDF or Excel. Use Edit Header if you need to update the company name, report title, or report date.
The report includes reconciliation tables for property, plant and equipment, along with opening balance, additions, disposals, depreciation, and closing balance.
What to check first
Run Recalculate so formula values are current.
Clear any active filters if assets seem to be missing.
Use Group by Category only if you want the report grouped that way.
Confirm depreciation rates in depreciation settings match the period you are auditing.
Common issues
Stale totals: run Recalculate before generating the report.
Missing assets: clear Filters and check whether the register is grouped.
Wrong balances: review depreciation settings and update any disposals first.
Period mismatch: complete rollover for the correct year before you generate the audit report.
After you export the file, compare the totals with your register and save the version you used for audit support. If you need a quick register extract instead, use Export CSV.
